Ashtanga Vinyasa Training

A 100 Hour Yoga Program for Teachers & Practitioners

Develop your personal practice and studies in Ashtanga & beyond. Alongside a dedicated community, you'll explore the practice from the inside out — questioning, reflecting, and discovering how yoga reaches far beyond the mat.

This is a wide-ranging program for all who wish to broaden and deepen their knowledge and experience of traditional and contemporary yoga studies.

October 2026 - March 2027

Program begins October 3, 2026

Engage in a creative dialogue informed by the curious nature of our minds.

Our 100-hour immersion is a six-month exploration created to inform your practice from the inside out. Together we aim to move beyond just the physical practice to reach the heart of the Ashtanga tradition. By examining the intersection of historical roots and modern evolution of the practice, together we create a space where the essence of this ancient lineage meets the demands of a contemporary lifestyle.

As fellow practitioners we will delve into a holistic curriculum that seamlessly weaves together Sanskrit chanting, philosophy, prāṇāyāma, āsana, and meditation, ensuring our growth both as a community and as individuals is as spiritual as it is physical.

We believe in maintaining the integrity of the practice, and yet recognize that for yoga to be transformative, it must be sustainable.

This program offers a modern approach to traditional wisdom, giving you the tools to carry the quiet strength of the practice into your daily life (and perhaps the lives of your students). Over the course of six months you won’t just learn Ashtanga, you will cultivate a grounded enduring practice that supports your evolution as a whole human being.

Central to this program is a deep somatic inquiry — learning to truly feel into the body and honor the wisdom it holds. This is a collaborative space where the hierarchy of “teacher and student” softens into a shared exploration. While we are here to lead and guide you through the curriculum, we are equally committed to learning from you.

We believe that every individual carries a unique wealth of lived experience, and we encourage you to bring that personal history into the classroom. By integrating your own story with the tradition, we foster an environment where the practice becomes a living, breathing dialogue, enriched by the collective presence of everyone in the room.

What will we explore?

Throughout the program we approach yoga as a complete system of study, practice, and self-inquiry.

Our explorations are guided by direct experience because that is the essence of this practice, understanding and embodying through experience, rather than making the practice of yoga an intellectual process or performative. We will leave the armchair to roll up our sleeves and get into the nitty gritty of yoga. This self transformation reshapes us, reinforming our thoughts, actions, and words from the inside out.

We will explore different areas of study within the broad subject of Yoga, always stepping back and considering how the separate “areas of study” are interconnected and blend into each other. We separate modules and facets of the practice for deep study and then bring them together again to cultivate a through line of connection and understanding that all these parts work together and are not independent of one another.

Who is this program for?

This program is intended for practitioners who feel a sincere curiosity about where yoga can lead when it is practiced consistently and studied deeply.

It may be right for you if:

  • You have a regular or semi-regular practice and feel drawn to understand the deeper foundations behind it.

  • You have been practicing for 2 or more years.

  • You are a yoga teacher seeking greater refinement, context, and clarity in your teaching.

  • You practice Ashtanga Yoga and want to immerse yourself more fully in the method.

  • You practice other vinyasa-based styles and want to understand the deeper architecture of vinyasa, sequencing, and philosophy.

This Advanced Study Program is a good fit for both regular practitioners who have no intention of teaching as well as teachers who are looking to deepen their personal study and hone their skills.

  • No, a 200 hour certificate is not required to join this course.

  • Yes. Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a certificate issued by The Mysore Program.

  • If you are already a teacher when starting the program, you will gain additional tools and clarity for teaching.

This course alone doesn’t suffice to be prepared to teach. For example, an established and consistent practice is recommended before teaching others.

This program will however support you in establishing the lifelong role of being a student, which is necessary for good teaching.

  • Absolutely! This program is intended to get steeped in the space of being a student – through practice, study, and self-reflection. If someone wants to teach it from that paradigm, they should draw inspiration to share with others. There are many ways of sharing the practice and its fruits, teaching yoga is just one way. If your desire is simply to learn more about the practice and deepen your own practice this program is absolutely intended for you.
